Project Summary
The Skilling programme is entirely meant to help the employable young people establish themselves in an environment of competitive job scenario by equipping them with skills in an interactive learning and mentoring environment. This programme mainly addresses the need of the youth who are constrained by the low income levels, inadequate skills, irregular employment, indebtedness and little bargaining power at economic and social level. To enable these youth to gain a foothold in the competitive job market, SRY gives them livelihood skills and soft skills to help develop their intrinsic capabilities. In addition to this, the programme focuses on creating a social impact in terms of increase in self-esteem and better acceptance in society so that the aspirants undertake in carving out their place in the market..
