To reduce the loss in crop productivity in the state, it was decided to help the families in Jharkhand in enhancing the crop productivity through agriculture technology transfer in participatory manner. The project aims to develop a community based agriculture support system with special focus on introduction and promotion of improved crop varieties following the Participatory Varietal Selection and Promotion (PVSP) a protocol; introduce and promote system of Rice Intensification (SRI); and collective marketing through Women Farmers’ Producers ‘Company.
