Implementing the Cluster Facilitation Project (CPF) under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)

Project Objective : Leveraging the synergies of different flagship programs of the Central and the State Governments in convergence with MGNREGS to address the poverty in aspiration and backward districts leading to a transformative impact on their lives and livelihoods.
Target Beneficiary Group : 90000-100000 families
Geographic Scope : 4 districts of Jharkhand
Project Timeline : 3 years
Key Activities:
- Facilitating the Government department in harnessing the full potential of MGNREGS by creating awareness on the rights and entitlements of MGNREGA, improvement in timely wage payment, participation of SC/ ST and other marginalized sections of the community, gender representation, etc.
- Incorporating GIS and RS tools for comprehensive watershed planning along with a focus on the enhancement of quality assets creation with a sharper focus on rural livelihoods.
- Creating individual assets which can enhance the income of rural households
- Increasing productivity through good agriculture practices and market linkage of farmers through FPOs
- Providing facilitation and capacity building at the grassroots level for mobilizing CBOs and gram panchayat
